Brid played away to Armthorpe who are based in Doncaster. At 12pm I was going to go, and had a look at the (derelict) forum to see if anyone else was going. Apart from Ani-Mad posting, it was dead, so I didn’t go.
In fact, I did nothing. Watched the darts at the Spa that was on BBC1, reasonable coverage of the place and of the darts. For the fans, it is just an excuse to come to the seaside and get pissed, most are completely oblivious to the going’s on, on the stage.
I received an email from Youtube yesterday, telling me that I had infringed some copyright on one of the video’s (second half against Lincoln Moorland) by having Tubthumping by Chumbawumba on it, and as a consequence they pulled the video. God i’m such a naughty boy – lol.
I seriously hope that all the mud slinging going on behind the scenes don’t have any adverse effects on those concerned or the club. I have to admit, i’d made one or two “funny” remarks on the forum, but did retract these when I realised how much they had hurt the intended. However, people must remember, do anything within a tight group of people and more often than not everyone will know about it, irrespective of how cautious you’ve been.
I won’t be at the home game next Saturday, as I will be “working” and taking my allocation of tickets to entertain at the Stoke v Fulham game. I bid you all a good game, and hope to be back in time for Warrens birthday bash – have a good day Warren.
